Does anyone use the shopping channels?

I have got some stuff from Gems Tv it was awful. How can they get away with saying stuff has a value of �1k selling it for �89 and even that is over priced when it arrives?

QVC are not so bad but then they are not really cheap just convenient.

Any ideas on getting the best from TV shopping?

I've been really pleased with everything I've got from Gems TV, but I do always keep an eye out for the carat weight and look out for the real bargains. And you can always send it back if you're disappointed! If you really want to know what it's worth get a valuation.

I've watched quite a few of the other shopping channels too and been tempted with stuff, but never bought it. Some of it does seem overpriced and readily available in shops.
