oakley sunglasses

hi can anyone tell me - how do you know when a pair of oakley sunglasses are the genuine thing and not a piar of 'looky-likeys'?? Many thanx in anticipation!!

Its difficult. Even Oakley state that you'd need to send them in to determine in they are fake or not. Best bet is to buy them from a reputable store/opticians. Fakes will probably be a lot cheaper too.

My prescription Oakleys had the logo etched into one of the lenses...don't suppose copies would have that but then don't suppose you'd get prescription copies in anycase.

I would say price and where you buy them i.e a shop will be genuine, Ebay, markets etc wont.

Sometimes I buy moody gear because it is better quality than the original.
