special need baby boots

could anyone tell me where i could buy a pair of piedro boots for a one and a half year old...continental size18...english size 2? i am waiting for an appointment with the orthotic dept at the hosp but it is a long waiting list! Thanks

I tried googling but without success - it seems you can only get them through the hospital. There seem to be some for sale on Ebay - presumably where children have outgrown them.

It looks like you can order them here, but I don't know whether they will deliver to the UK and it has no price on them - I would send them a message on their "contact us" link. You should probably wait for the hospital though, as they will be able to assess your little ones needs properly.

thanks for your help.....i have emailed the seller on ebay to find out some more info. i agree it would-in an ideal world -be better to wait until i get the hosp appt but this is going to be many weeks and then several more before they can be collected. i feel she would benefit in the mean time from the support her ankles would get whilst in the standing frame. she is not able to weight bare on her own at all so its not as though she will be walking in them.
