Has anyone got any easy tips on how to stretch a pair of shoes especially if they are tight arounf the toes??, thanks.

yes i agree wearing them round the house with thick socks does the trick :-)
Mr O has feet like shovels and finds all shoes tight. He takes his to the local cobblers who do a great job of stretching them for a couple of quid.

put rolled up wet newspapers in the shoes overnight. fill the shoes tightly with them , this should soften and stretch them.
It is no good trying to stretch them unless they are at least leather uppers, and you can only stretch the width and depth, not the length, if they have a leather lining and upper they will stretch quicker, but if only a leather upper, buy a set of stretchers from timpsons or similar, but remember that shoes need to mold to your feet naturally as much as possible, and if you stretch the leather artificaially without letting it mold to your fit, you will probabbly end up with a pait of shoes that go too loose after a few weeks and will have to put insoles in them.
