Last week, I was offered a reduction on my monthly mobile phone contract, if I renewed for 18 months.
I did this in my local mobile phone shop in town.
Now I realise that I am stuck with the same phone for the next 18 months.
Is there a cooling off period where I can cancel and go back to my original contract or does this 18 month contract hold now?
Thanks

Cooling off periods only apply to contracts that were signed away from the business premises, ie at home or over the phone. You did it in the mobile phone shop so ost likely have no cooling off period unless your mobile phone provider have their own rules. Ring them and ask, the worst they can say is no.

Oh and next time, find out exactly what you are letting yourself in for before you sign anything!
