buying on amazon

I have tried 3 times to buy an item on amazon - I opened an account - got a password - bought the item - then paid for it with my visa - everything done to a fault - but it wont let me finalise the payment. I have checked there is no mistakes in email or passwords - nothing. I have contacted Amazon - just waiting from them - anybody have any ideas
