i got a mobile on contract through the carphone warehouse and was told that there was no 14day exchange. due to a change in my circumstances i now cannot afford to keep the contract. am i able to take it back and cancel the contract?

No, that is what a cntract is - they agree to provide a service and you agree to pay. If you dont pay, they are liable to take you to court and give you a ccj.
oh I had a 10month long fight with CPWarehouse over same thing, Tmobile said there was a cool-off period CPW said no, in the end it was Tmobile that let me out the contract but what a worry they caused me.

I will never use CPW again, lying cheating scumbags
