Do you honestly believe he was the only alleged sex case in jail. They hang together in bunches or in halls for protection, passing on sordid details of their alleged crimes. They get caught once and its as if they have never done it before and will never do it again. Shame for them...what an injustice!!! Why dont they become boxers, that way they can beat people or be beaten about the ring as much as they like...********, allegedly?

I agree with alan47& netibiza - Also, it turned my stomach watching him on the news this evening. He came out of prison, looking so smug & cocky "Look everyone I'm free & I'm innocent" - yeah right.

It's funny, I normally have zero sympathy for pedophiles, but I just can't get too worked up about Jonathan King. Maybe it's because his victims were 14 or so (or am I misremembering?) who didn't seem to aghast about it all. Certainly, when I was 14 - a long time ago - I was old enough not to get into situations I didn't want to; the same must surely be true of 14-year-olds today? For me, pedophiles - the ones who really make me feel sick - are the ones who go for 10-year-olds, those plainly below puberty and in need of protection. And that's to say nothing of those who go for 10-month-olds. When the tabloids start raving about sex-monster King, I just turn off. I think lumping all pedophiles together masks important distinctions; some are very much worse than others. Am I on my own in this?

Chillum you may be aghast in the next few weeks when you see him doing the rounds of day time chat shows to plug his cd/books/memoirs/innocence. They will be serialising his writings soon too. remember Gary Glitter. He still gets mobbed at airports and concerts by his fans. Pete Townshed is releasing an album soon and be touring. Sir Arthur Clarke still has his knighthood. There are enough parents today who will gladly allow Michael jackson to spend his nights with their children. They line the road to the courtroom in the US shouting their support. What is the world coming to.

Do any of you think that the media stirs up all this nonse(!)nse. I think  JK should have been ignored on his release - let him know what decent people think of him - but he'll be making another fortune with all this, although I thought wrongdoers could not benefit by their crime, so selling stories and interviews is wrong no??

The man is a beast! How does anyone know what is his cut off age is, Naw ok! 13, 14, thats what he got the time for. Now he's trying to vindicate himself on a technicality. A beast is a beast is a beast. And for christs sake, don't offer him a 10 ten year old, or if you want...offer him yours. jno does have a point, there are different grades of beast. There are too many cases out there who would be evidence to this or kids who have the rest of their lifes to live...when the beast is dead but never forgotten.

Yes my apologies...jackson is innocent until proven guilty but i will not let my children share his bed whatever the outcome of the trial. However there are thousands of parents who will allow their children to spend the night with him whatever the outcome of the trial. That was the point i was trying to make.
