Another One of THOSE Questions
So far we know ABer's ages, gender, locations, shoe sizes and various personal preferences. I thought it would be interesting to find out what my fellow ABer's jobs/careers are, so, what do you do ?
If you are retired, what did you do ?
If you are a school leaver/student, what is your chosen career path ?
PS. I am not a government spy (despite my name), nor will this information be used on future ID cards !

Full time jobs - Editing & publishing user manuals for computer software, Advertising Executive, Civil Servant, and now I'm an Entreprenuer running my own business. That's where I'll stay.
Several part time jobs when I was in college like catering, and interim jobs such as a classroom assistant, call centre worker and surgery receptionist.

You can easily get a jobs as a carer, I used to work in a care home as an auxiliary nurse when I was at uni. It was really really hard work, but if you are caring and treat patients like you would want your loved ones treated then it is ok.
Why dont you do some research and even find out about how to be a live in carer even. You can start part time first of all. A friend of mine got into it that way, she is in her fifties and wanted a some work that was rewarding.
Dont get down about what you do now, we all do what we have to do. Its never too late either. Ive changed careers sooo many times.
Still, it's funny because at the same time as doing the care home work, I used to work in a yorkshire pudding factory. LOL I did it all so that I wouldn't be in debt at uni. It worked but Uni did me no good either.
