Where are all those desperate parents, this Christmas, who camp outside Hamleys, etc, fretting about getting their little uns the latest Toy? Haven't there been any 'faddy-must-have' toys this year, or am I missing something?

Faddy toy costs about 5 a spinning top called gayblade or something, but I think all the queues are a bit straggly this year and I'm not the first to notice..
They've probably all caught on and bought them over the net like the rest of us!
There hasn't been any "must have" toys this year, has there? Maybe the attention has moved to PS2 games instead. I didn't have any roblem getting hold of the new releases as I pre booked them online, so you're probably right 5029.
Micropets seem to have been quite popular round our way. They sell out almost as quickly as they come in! I was surprised about a famous catalogue store though - everything I wanted they had in stock - in VAST quantities. Makes a change from hearing the usual 'sorry, not in stock, and not sure if we'll get anymore before Christmas'! But no, I've not seen any actual queues for anything this year.
I couldnt find a Barbie Rapunzel for love nor money on the net or the Trafford centre or woolies or anywhere this year. As luck would have it Granny bought one in November so no tears.
