On the grounds that prevention is better than cure - there is a place for a demo before the event rather than when we are stuck in the middle of endless conflict. How is it anti American to want to express a wish to prevent casualties on all sides, including the US?
If we know what WOM destruction Iraq has (possibly because we supplied them in the first place) perhaps we could wait for the UN to try more peaceful means of disarming them.
By attacking a country not in our league in terms of weapons and armed forces, do we not just give the dictators and terrorists a helping hand with their propaganda and "victim of the western world" mentality? I may well be wrong on the issues, but in answer to your question "Who cares?" - I do and so do lots of other people, not least the families of the service people who have been sent to the region from the US and the UK. Trust me, if I wanted to make an anti-American statement I would if it was justified, but that's not the issue here.
