Hitting the keyboard?

I work in an open plan office. Something I find rather strange at times when i look at certain people sat in front of PC's, why is it that at times when things don't go quite right or a problem a person is faced with they hit the keys on a keyboard that much harder?.

It does seem a little strange, its like if you hit the keys harder or slam the mouse on the table, its gonna solve the problem?. Do you think this is a normal reaction, as im pretty sure I don't do this!

nothing to start again, if you got a gripe with the monkey then thats upto you... just strange that all these "monkey/chimp" related names seemed to have popped up in green over the last week.... one of the same? or different people... I'm rather perturbed by it all!
meanwhile back in the office, all is calm it is friday afterall
