Hitting the keyboard?

I work in an open plan office. Something I find rather strange at times when i look at certain people sat in front of PC's, why is it that at times when things don't go quite right or a problem a person is faced with they hit the keys on a keyboard that much harder?.

It does seem a little strange, its like if you hit the keys harder or slam the mouse on the table, its gonna solve the problem?. Do you think this is a normal reaction, as im pretty sure I don't do this!

I like a good bang on the keyboard. It relieves stress, but it's a real pain when I lose my balance and fall off the desk..

Scanning i am so guilty of doing this daily! I don't however work in an open plan office.

I constantly hit the ; key instead of ' (I just did it then!!! then corrected it Grrrr) It really riles me up seeing it;s instead of it's or she;s instead of she's!!

I get so angry with myself and bang the delete key then the correct key very hard!! I feel better aftwards like.... :o)
