Trying to track someone down?

I'm trying to track down an old friend i lost contact with about 4 years ago.

Anyone know any websites i could try?

I have already tried friends reunited and no luck there.
Last i heard they were in Lytham st annes, but that was nearly 4 year ago, so could be anywhere now.

(who knows, maybe they don't want to be tracked down)

Firstly try http://www.192.com and http://b4usearch.co.uk to see is any address in Lytham currently. On 192.com you can look at electoral lists for previous years (payment needed). If you do get an address in Lytham but not their current, one of these sites does allow the choice of neighbours sometime with telephone numbers. It may be worth ringing an old neighbour and if they suggest a town that your friends moved to, try searching there.

you could always try typing there name into http://www.myspace.com/ into the search thing or browse for people living in that area.

As bird legs suggests 192.com is a good site to try or is there anyone else on friends reunited or genes reunited that was a closer freind or family member that you could get in touch with? You could always post an ad in the personal column of whatever the local paper is

As bird legs says try 192, but i think www.192.co.uk lets you check up details just by registering, rather than paying on the .com
