'Taxi' seems to be pretty universal.
Amen?

thanks amen was the right answer
"OK" is reckoned to be pretty much universally understood. I reckon whoever set that quiz question needs a lesson in what constitues a unique answer.
I would have thought most trade names would also remain unchanged - "Coke" is apparently the 2nd most widely undertood word worldwide (after OK) - likewise, I expect Hoover and Xerox are pretty universal.

Coca Cola, Big Mac, Durex, biro, hoover...........
kidney
kodak
"Coca Cola" is not a universal name; when they transliterated it into Chinese, the characters meant "bite the wax tadpole" so they had to change it. Presumably you mean that Amen is "a" correct answer, not "the" correct answer.
