A bodega is literally a storehouse. In Spain this is what they call a wine shop or, somewhere that sells groceries.

yup indeed, particularly reknowed for storing sherry....anyone fancy a tipple?

It's the name of a 'trendy' high ceilinged bar near me so my answer is posing gits.

we live in Spain and are fortunate to have a bodega, it is used to store all the useless junk we should have left in the UK!
