Locating public phone boxes

I have been set a challenge and need to find the location of a large number of public phone boxes. I have the numbers but need a directory of some kind which would help me find the locations. BT were not very helpful and I've tried ringing some of the boxes but only 1 in five gets answered on average and people are not too keen to give me any information about the place the phone is in.

There's the Phone Book Companion which has all area codes but you would only give you a rough idea of the place the phone box is in but not the exact location. It costs �4 but your library will probably have one if you can't find anyone who can lend you one.
