Can anyone most kindly identify where I might have arrived at from the following, please - bypassing Colchester 3 miles to the east I turn south and arrive at a little riverside town, not so much out on a limb, but the outermost limb.
This is the Where was i? quiz in the Sunday Times or do you actually want to go there? assuming it's the former I think it's Wivenhoe but I don't know why.
Its the quiz, O. I thought of Wivenhoe, then Brightlingsea, but cannot make them fit the clue. I just hoped that somebody could see an answer that ties into the clue.
The other towns are Witham,Rivenhall and Maldon but I don't know what they all have in common but Wivenhoe's 15 miles north east of Maldon using a ruler and a roadmap.
I've been to Ortakent though and it's a lovely place so it's a holiday worth winning.
