Are old people in those motorised buggy things a la Thora Hird actually legally allowed on the roads? Cos they are doing my head in - i am sure that they are more of a menace on the road and it's more dangerous for them - shouldn't they be on the pavement? AARRGGHH! thanx x

Users may ride on the road and even on a dual carriageway as long as they display a flashing amber beacon!
So watch out for grannies a la IrnBru ad on a street near you.....!
