I have just come across an address which is in RHODESIA in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. I understood that Cecil Rhodes gave his name to Rhodesia in Africa, so how did this one in England come to be named?

The Village was named Rhodesia after the long time Chairman of the Colliery Company, Mr G. Preston Rhodes.
