(i.e. there are plenty of Pakistani and Bangladeshi residents living in the area).
There are plenty of Sikhs in Southall, and it's home to the largest Sikh temple outside of India. Hindus and followers of the Jainismare also prominent, so there's a real 'buzz' to the area around Diwali.
I note that Mr V links Shepherd's Bush to the Irish community. That might be historically correct but these days it's full of Ozzies and Kiwis.
Green Lanes is the centre of London's Cypriot community.
Soho's Chinatown needs no explanation, but the original 'Chinatown' was in the East End (Limehouse).
