Drop cigarette ends, matches, chewing gum - any kind of litter - don't flush the toilet, and a host of other 'little' things and you are liable for a Fine!!! Having said that I found it to be possibly the cleanest place I have ever visited. The people were friendly, very helpful, and made me feel really welcome. I suppose it's like anywhere you go elena, respect their laws and customs and you wont go far wrong.
Try a day at Singapore zoo, a ride on the river in a 'bum-boat', the orchid gardens, an evening cruise/dinner in the harbour. If your budget will allow, how about a day trip across to Malaysia.
Oh................and if you stop off at Raffles after shopping, don't have a singapore sling...........have 2 or 3.......Lol.
