well just thought it was me, lol. any more please, its also good to know that bad manners in people is frowned upon. Bus drivers who park so far away from the kerb, i have to buy another ticket, just to get there.
<<<is guilty of giving you your change as notes, then coins on top. This is because i take it from the till that way...for example if you're due back 15.25, i'll take out a 10, then a 5, then the 25p and this is the way its handed over to you.

Does it pee you off? Yeah probably, but do i care? no, not alot ;-)
peopl who cannot grasp simple concepts...and worse are actually potentially dangerous...

in my mums shop once i served a man who stode in picked up a sprirt level strode over to the door frame tested it, then strode to the till and loudly proclaimed this ones out, its doesnt work... have you got any more? 'i pointed to the pile he had just picked it up from, and he tried another one...same result....he said 'im a builder you see and i need a good one that works...i explained to him that probably the door was not straight and explained the concept of a spirit level... he looked at me like i was just a silly girl and tried another...same result...he actually threw it down on the counter and stormed out... haha mad but i wouldnt want him working on my house if he cannot grasp the whole reason for a spirit level...!
Smokers that think its acceptable to discard their butts all over the place !
Managing to get in the shortest checkout queue that is the slowest !
Drivers who dont say thanks after you have let them out of a side road etc...manners cost nothing !
Drivers who leave their indicator on
Car park ticket machines that never give change

Boo if you take that attitude, no wonder many people get upset in shops. Banks can be as bad, tellers who think its their money you are asking to take out. That goes for the nitwits at the end of a long list of 1, 2, 3, 4, phone options, by the time you actually get to speak to a person, you are either so hacked off, or forgotten what it was you were phoning about.
^^^all of them, plus drivers who indicate when they are turning and not sooner.

Drivers who park more on the pavement than the road. What about folks with poor sight or mobility? grrrrrrrrrr
Drivers who don't indicate, because THEY know where they are going....
em- i give you no reason to get upset when i serve you, i hate you all, but i never let on. To your face im politeness personified, yes i'm THAT good ;-)
Ah, yes Em10 - AUTOMATED PHONE ANSWERING...GRRRRRRRRRR, WHEN YOU JUST WANT TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEAN....lol
boo...unless you hand each item to the person one by one, i dont see how that would work or make any diffrence...and its not how it looks like they are doing it

they have notes in one hand change in the other...and they very particularly put the notes down first...its as easy to do it either way...

plus some people count the change out from the amount - not everyone uses the button that tells you the change...i rarely used it.
think i might start fumbling that change, let it slide off the notes all over the counter and down by their chair so they have to bend down an pick it all up, and potentially have to get more out the till again...i advise everyone to start doing this...cos i just dont care
what you talking about Joko? I take the change out of the till in the way you say it, like i said, for example, 15.25 change is taken out that way...the 10 pound note first, then the 5 etc. Then from my hand it's passed over to yours. Errr what button that tells you your change?
Chair? Ha! I should be so lucky, no sitting down on my till!
10 Clarion St,my sentiments exactly!! I couldn't have put it better myself. Roy Castle conveniently forgot where he made his name and his money,he was crap as well!!
i mean some people would count it out 5p, 20p, £5, then the £10 ...not the notes first...

most tills have a function on that if you type the amount you are given, then press another button it will calculate how much change you need to give...

either way you have notes in one and coins in another, why not just give the change first?

or are you saying you pick out the notes, then with other hand pick out the change, then put the change into your other hand underneath the notes?
not quite sure how else i can describe how my till works joko, lol.

My till automatically tells me how much change to give, so therefore there's no need to count it out, its all done for me. So with that in mind, i get the money out of the till as im reading it....a ten pound note, a five pound note....and so on and so on. If im doing it that way, the notes will automatically end up below the coins.
Being told by the library staff that i have had that book issued previously and do i still want it? I don't want reminding of my lack of memory
and i dont count it out to the customer, I just hand it all over saying "that's 15.25 change and your receipt"
Boo - I usually end up apologising to the cashier for throwing the money at her/him because the 'twins' will be pulling one arm on their reins whilst I try and get the money out of my purse. As long as I get some change, I don't much care how I get it.
boo............do you say " have a nice day " ? :)
