If you are in a relationship, which jobs do you do automatically assume are 'yours' to do. Do you assume some jobs to be a womans job & some to be a mans?

The Boss!!
Quassia....no..if I had a man in my life he could do all the jobs his little heart desired...especially putting out the spiders!! =)

Joe! So you 'do' define some roles in your house as 'womens' work? Why?
My jobs - washing either dishes or clothes, he has no idea how to work the dishwasher! Vacuuming (dust makes his asyhma bad), getting up in the morning to feed animals and make cups of tea.

His jobs - keeping outside of car looking nice, cooking - he's very good at that, and enjoys it, which is more than I do! Removes (not kills!) spiders,
puts dustbins out, and lets the dogs out and gives them their biscuits last thing at night. Because of me being off work for so long, and him being retired, we tend to do a lot of things together. I watched my mother and both of my sisters' do all the "womens' duties" and was determined that I would never be like that, and fortunately met a man who felt the same way.
All of them - no-one else.
