Great idea to make Britain Great again

Why not change the capital city of the UK every 3 years? Then there would be no problems. They could just erect a big marquee in a local park for parliament. This would solve so many problems and I can't even think of any negatives.

I dont see any "problems" caused by the capital being London.
In fact because Government/Politicians and the Civil Service departments are mostly based in London it works very well as they are all so close to each other.
If you move parliament to say Newcastle and all the civil serevants are in London it would cause all sorts of problems.
In fact only a small part of goverment goes in inside the actual Parliament building, so moving that would not solve anything either.

As a follow on to my comment above - why on earth would moving the capital make Britain great again anyway?
Britain became great at a particular period in history, when a particular set of circumstances were right for us to conquer so many countires and raid their resourses.
But the world has moved on, and many countries who were "great" (Egypt, Greece, Spain etc) are now longer great and unlikely to ever be so again.
The focus of the world is moving to the East (China, India etc) and great counties are likely to rise up from there.
Europe is mostly a spent force, with a pretty poor future ahead of it.

That would go down like a lead balloon with all politicians, how would we look to the outside world, like our leaders don't know where to go, a central London Parliament is the best option, everyone knows where they then
You can't upsticks the many who work for the government, have a look at the BBC who are relocating, though i don't know how much of the operation, to the north, and many employees are unhappy with the move.
Cost ten times as much in the longer term

The Civil Service needs a shake-up. Britain needs to come together, and spreading civil service departments around the nation would give job opportunities to those who don't want to go and live in London. Plus giving a lot of people the experience of living in a capital city without all the crime and cockney accents.
