it easier if i say reason first lol.
when i was in primary school, i got horrifically bullied, everyone i thought was my friend turned against me and beat the crap out of me so obviously my confidence with others went down.
i dont have many friends, i have like one good friend.
i have just been introduced to this other girl who seems a lot like me and we have a lot in common. however, im starting to feel like somethings going to go wrong. i get stuck about what to talk about n i am beginning to think she doesn't like me.
im not weird or anything but i just get worried.

im 18 now but when i was bullied i was like 4 n it carried on till i was 9
She might feel the same way as you. It doesn't always come naturally to open up to people. I often have nothing to say, and there's nothing wrong with that. Don't put too much pressure on yourself.

i know im sounding weird but i just get worried that one day she will turn like everyone else has which makes me feel why am i even trying if they going toend up hating me like everyone else?
A lot less likely at the age you are now.

Do you like yourself as a person? If you do, remind yourself of that when you have doubts. If you like yourself...the chances are other will like you too.

Most people who are bullied are bullied by people who are jealous of them.
If you get stuck about something to talk about ask a daft question. Like, if you're in the bath do you face the taps or away from them? It can also help if you can use a bit of humour - conjuntivitis.com there's a site for sore eyes........Just relax and go with the flow, be yourself and stop fretting.
Just be a good listener. Most people prefer to talk, so like it when you listen. Good luck.
Your doubts about this new friend (probably unfounded) will inevitably show through to a sensitive person and this will only put her off - do you feel close enough yet to actually broach the subject with her - she may be a bit bewildered herself, or feel threatened in the same way as you do (the diffidence and self-doubt could be something else you have in common).

And if it does turn out unfavourably in the end, so what - that's life I'm afraid, and as glib a cliché as it is, it's a fact that there are plenty of other fish in the sea.

Good luck, hope all turns out fine.
