3. Repeal the 1998 Human Rights Act
4. Repeal the 2010 Fixed Term Parliament Act
5. Weaken, or preferably outlaw party politics in the Westminster Parliament.
(Cannot do with just 5)
6. Immediately grant independence to Scotland whether they like it or not.
7. Forge trading links and agreements with countries which are undergoing growth.
1, 2 and 3 to enable the UK to re-establish control over its own affairs and to regain the ability to decide who comes here and who can remain here.
4 - to enable the electorate, via their MPs, to kick out a badly behaving government.
5 - to force MPs to represent their constituents' interests and not just act as lobby fodder for their party (see 4)
6 - to stop Alex Salmond appearing on English TV
7 - to help us reap the benefits of vibrant growing economies and unshackle us from moribund European ones.

I think the only people who'd be attracted to the role then would be those with large personal wealth who don't need the money and can afford to live in London or travel there daily, and I don't think that would be healthy.

I'd like to make people more tolerant of people that aren't like them
I'd be tempted to say that everybody should spend a week a year living and working with a familly of a completely different background
However having seen one or two of theose 'wife swap' programs I don't think that's likely to help!
