Love some of the comments on here, especially Naomi's and anne's - would an itchy liberty bodice do? Made me chuckle that anne !
Oh, I don't know. I sometimes feel religious topics aren't always accorded the gravitas they clearly deserve.

They do it to a different tune in Blackburn
Mindful of Sandy's appeal for gravitas, Jom. Am trying hard to keep straight face. Must eschew levity.
Nowt as queer as folks..
Especially when it comes to religion.
Oscar, VE, Oscar. ;o)
I thought it was Arsenal fans celebrating the signing of Mesut Ozil
It seems to be Tatbir

bit on wiki - definitely Shia - so I am a bit surprised to see it in England.

On a certain day - the regret the death of Imam Hussein in the battle of Karbala

I thought it was a zekr (=religious exercise) but that seems to be exclusively Sufi ( - whirling dervishes ) - see wiki under dhikr (classical transliteration rather than colloquial)

Elvis, if you don't mind me saying, I think you have a better voice than any of them.

Well either way I bet it must smell in that room.
That's probably why there are no women present.
jomifl; // That's probably why there are no women present.// If this is to be believed (can it?) Muslim girls are not supposed to see topless boys! http://www.expatica.com/de/news/local_news/muslim-girl-cannot-skip-swim-class-german-high-court_273699.html
It can be believed.
She was allowed to wear a full swimsuit known as a 'burkini'

Khandro, I think islam must be the weirdest mixture of nastiness and silliness that has ever been combined in one religion. It demonstrates that once a belief system is based on something arbitrary rather having a basis in reality it tends to go to extremes of the most bizarre kind. The koran must have been very poorly written if there can be so many different interpretations of it.
Question Author
Someone I know was reading the Koran and he put it down and asked for a sign from god and got nothing. He then picked it back up and it stated that those looking for signs need only look around and see the world and that is proof itself. After that he was a firm believer. Anyway I don't see that guy anymore. Who cures children with cancer? God? No science. Who lets 1000's die in the name of religion. The believe of a god. It really winds me up

It's the only one that creates problems wherever it goes.
