Men With Wedding Rings

Seems a surprising long sequence of PMs don't wear a wedding ring

I never have and I know my father never did so it doesn't seem that odd to me but I get the feeling I may be in the minority these days ( seems like a convention that started around WWII )

How would you feel about your husband/wife not wearing one?

My DH wore his to work (office) but not around the house or out on his motorbike. I didn't wear mine to work (handwashing hygiene) but wore it at weekends, not when out on bike with DH. I think its not a big deal, personal choice thing.

The only jewellery for a real man to wear is cuff links; all his other jewels are displayed on his wife/partner ;)

Mr Cake chose to have one which surprised me as he isn't one for jewellery and his father doesn't wear a wedding ring.

I wouldn't have been bothered either way, having said that it would have saved a few hundred quid if he'd chosen not to have one!

My father never wore a wedding ring and neither did my late husband. Never gave it a second thought.

My husband wears his. But I didn't get him one until our silver wedding anniversary. Don't wear mine often because of arthritis. Already had it enlarged twice, lol!

My husband wears a wedding ring - so did the one before - but I'm not fussed one way or another. I've never taken mine off - well, not the current one.

I wear two. One from my wedding day and another my wife bought me on our golden wedding day.

MrG wore one......from his first marriage....because it was stuck and he was too much of a wuss to have it cut off.

But the first Mrs G and I got on well so I didn't mind....☺
