Was Michael Jackson A Paedophile?

Though he was never convicted, is the general concensus that Michael Jackson was in actual fact a serial child abuser or is it totally open for debate? If it is the case then why is it okay to play his music still on tv and radio but not Gary Glitter's?

MJ admitted that, when children stayed at his house, they slept in his bed.

He said that this was because he loved children, but maintained that he did not abuse them.

On the plus side, there is no evidence that he did abuse them.

On the minus side, if you were a parent, and your child was lucky enough to spend a weekend at (did he call it Neverland, or something?), would you be happy that your child shared a bed with fifty year old Michael Jackson because he "loved children"?

Looking at it another way, if your child had a sleep over with a friend from school, how would you feel if you found out that your child was going to share a bed with her friend's fifty year old dad? Nothing sexual. Your daughter's friend's dad just "loves children".

The fact that a case isnt proven does not mean it didn't happen. When you have money like MJ had, you can employ the best defence lawyers, it makes a huge difference!

Im not saying that he did anything to the kids but I think he did.

Slight correction. Michael Jackson was only forty four (not fifty) when he admitted that children share his bed.

He said there was nothing wrong with that.

So, next time your child has a sleep over with a school friend, it will be okay for your friend's dad to share a bed with you child, as long as he's forty four.

That is the argument, yes? That there was nothing wrong with Michael Jackson, because it's okay for a forty four year old man to share a bed with children who visit his house?

I don't know the answer but I agree that the litmus test is 'Would you leave you kids with MJ overnight?', and it is resounding no from me.

He was a great performer without doubt but unfortunately he was also a man that had needs, his needs were a little different to most normal men, in fact "he" was a little different to most men!
