Though he was never convicted, is the general concensus that Michael Jackson was in actual fact a serial child abuser or is it totally open for debate? If it is the case then why is it okay to play his music still on tv and radio but not Gary Glitter's?

Glitter was convicted, Jackson was not, and that's about it. The general consensus is neither here nor there: people could have laid charges and didn't. Against Glitter, they did and he was punished.

Even the judge in Jackson's case said he thought Jackson was guilty.
He had to order a 'not guilty' verdict because Jackson's lawyers had paid the child's mother $38 million to refuse to give evidence. Jackson was as guilty as sin but so rich he was able to bribe his way out.

MJ denied allegation. No case proven! With his earnings he didnt need insurance company to pay out but obviously IC valued his premiums.

I think he was one of the worst of the lot and maybe history will prove that however during his lifetime his personal wealth was enough to let him essentially get away with anything he wanted. Greed won over justice with MJ I suspect, anyone accusing him probably knew they were onto a winner because the Saintly Jackson could not be toppled.

I'd suggest that celebrities in many walks of life have this aura that says they can get away with anything they like.... the justice system is showing the opposite!

Jackson had staff who's sole job was to find suitable children to be his 'guests' and other staff who's job was to pay off the parents and stop any unwanted publicity. The Chandler case was not the only one, others were also paid $millions to stop proceedings or refuse to testify.
