Not really. Just read this article http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/coffeehouse/2014/07/the-west-has-drifted-away-from-israel-and-itself/ where he seems to suggest that Israel is slowly allying itself to the West. Maybe, but it's taking a long time.

Thanks inksplotter.Yes,he is a regular columnist for The Spectator.Interesting notion that 'we like to think that there are no enemies' and that they are 'phobias that haven't been cured of yet'...
