Ladies day – ladies rules :-)! In my opinion, dresses are not so bad. And women look quite well with their make-up and hair. The problem is behavior. And not even behavior … but alcohol. I must have an obsolescent opinion but I think that words ‘lady’ and ‘drunken’ are incompatible.

I have been to Aintree a couple of times and most of these photos account for the 5% of women that look unashamedly trashy. Most look reasonably elegant (at the start of the day anyway!!)
