What's with the people who wear red trousers, should we be asking them to pay more tax? Are they in some sort of "Knights Templar" club?

In my book, its red corduroy trouser wearers who should not only pay more taxes, but be made to pack bags at the supermarket for a cultural experience.

What I meant was, there are some men of a certain age that seem to have taken to red trousers in preference to beige?
