Bloody Devon weather. Why does it think it's November whenever I come here?

It's not just Devon, Dorset has been like that for the last couple of months. Today was really cold, shrouded in a kind of sea mist. It's very depressing.
wet all day here but for a brief hour or two this morning ..:0(
I has been a lovely day here

Yes, we've got the sea mist. It doesn't help that we are on the Atlantic and about 500 ft above sea level. On the plus side, I can't see the windfarm

The funny thing is, I threw in my bikini, sunlounger and bodyboard at the last minute when I set off today. Not to mention my hiking and riding gear. Still, at least its always warm when you sit on a horse ( or in a pub). They don't make summers like they used to.
Been raining off and on for 4 days here in Dumfries and Ayrshire. But had a great weekend break visiting the grandchildren.
It was summer yesterday in Plymouth. That's probably it for the next three months. ;-(

Pasta, my friends here say that they had some quite nice weather some weeks ago - the SW was the sunniest part of the country. When I turned up at 6pm tonight it wasn't too bad but as soon as I got into the relatives house the mist closed in. I can't even see the other side of the village now. When I lived here we never got weather like this in the summer
Today started out nice, hot and sunny. By lunchtime, it was dark, grey, cold and drizzling. Right now I am feeling chilly.
