Whatever happened to British culture?
Is it completely dead or terminal?
Can it ever be revived, or do we need to adapt to the new foreign landscape?

Posts like this leave me reeling, they really do.
WHAT exactly has been eradicated of British culture? I can't see anything. In my home country we still wake the apple trees up at the beginning of the year with dancing and fires, and in our neighbouring county we still cheese roll. On Clee Hill they leave offering for the Giants so they don't start chucking rocks about etc etc etc. The list is endless.
If people are offended by something, so what, ignore it like any rational person does if it has no validity.
Half of the things cited ( including Christianity) are foreign imports, so stop wailing about how 'your culture' (Middle Eastern, German, Nordic, Norman French and Roman for the most part) is being destroyed.

c. Things can't change unless the majority of people want and allow them to.

If you want to go back to proper British culture we'd all be wandering around naked covered in woad, and I'm fairly sure even the most die hard Kippers amongst you don't want that.

I don't believe that's British culture. It's what the TV would have us believe. The majority of people I associate with are good hard working people. That's British culture, imo. TV programmes try and portray the British as work dodgers....that isn't the case from my experience.

That is all part of the problem, in some parts of the country the British are no longer the majority.

Not as foreign as Islam.
100 years ago women were dying fighting for equal rights. Nowadays the same women who are vocal about women's equality will say nothing about the blatant misogyny of Islam.

On the news a few days ago they run a story on Lincoln's new 2 million quid mosque. Film rolled, men entering the mosque and video of them gathering inside and praying.
Then a couple of women went to enter the mosque... one was grabbed by the elbow and directed to the back door. Stupid moo's what did they think they were up to?

See. If you go back far enough you’ll discover that we were never anything much so stop 'wailing'. We’ve hijacked practically everything we hold dear. Sad that there appears to be a growing compulsion to delve 2000 plus years into history in order to disparage this country – but for those who laud and encourage the dubious benefits of multi-culturalism today it serves a purpose I suppose.

Christmas changed to Winterfest to appease minority religious groups.

Easter break changed to spring break. Luckily the shops at least still closed on Easter Sunday this year. But for how much longer will that go on?

The fact that some people can't see what has happened just shows how insidious the changes have been. The drip feed of political correctness has rendered people either too frightened to defend a tradition or not even notice it has gone.
