We are always told that immigration enriches our society.
I disagree.
Apart from foreign food, what are the net benefits?
We have terrorism, a net drain on our benefits system, and a school in Southampton, (YouTube ), has 32 languages spoken, and parents cannot speak English.
I fail to see any benefits at all.
The ANTIFA love it.
Sadly for me, I am white, heterosexual, and male.
Only those who can identify with some kind of minority group get the approval of the neo liberals that are taking over.
They view our flag as a symbol of oppression. They approve of Islamism. They support any and every sexual identity and they are running out of letters of the alphabet to identify themselves.
Up to now it is LGBTIQ. but might have missed some.
Only a strong ALT RIGHT government can save us from this disgraceful invasion of our culture and national identity.
What can we / you do in our everyday lives to try and stem the tide of this neo liberal communist agenda of destruction of everything that we should hold dear?

Haaaa! :o)
Given a good welfare system and proper, market set, pay and conditions, there ought not be any issue about unwillingness to do jobs. It's when the rates and conditions are set to only attract foreign citizens, and/or the welfare is generous enough that there's no incentive to contribute instead, that allows folk to make out that one has to employee foreign labour.

/// Does anyone know why a question about immigration has a sub question about gay people wedged in the middle of it. ///

It is all part and parcel of the same thing, due to certain minority pressure groups backed by liberal thinking.

It makes the indigenous straight population feel that suddenly it is them who are the strangers in their own land, seeing that they have to accept what is now classed as the norm, and anyone daring to voice their opinions are labelled with numerous offensive tags.
OG, in the fifties ,when the woollen industry was still thriving, the only way to fill vacancies in the mills was to import labour from abroad. It was the same with the lack of public transport drivers.
sp, //Does anyone know why a question about immigration has a sub question about gay people wedged in the middle of it.//

I asked that question earlier – but then I realised that this question isn’t just about immigration – it’s about diversity in all its forms.

It's called "that old chestnut again"?

But don’t most people generally agree with liberalism? We’ve pretty much rejected the bigotry from the past, and collectively have a live and let live attitude.

I would wager that the vast majority of straight people have no problem with gay people - and that the people who have to deal with ‘numerous offensive tags’ are probably the minorities in question.

I would lay good money down on this - that 99.9% of people you know not only are not bigots, but also don’t even register any antipathy against minorities.

I bet most people you know just get on with life, and ignore pressure groups.

I know I do.

I wonder when they will catch on that it is really modern slave labour.
Diversity in all its forms.

My my.
sp. if that doesn't suit you feel free to rephrase it.
No - you’re right, and only reflecting what Theland is putting forward.

As a white heterosexual male, he wants an ‘alt-right’ government installed to look after his wishes and desires. He feels that he is not being accommodated, because of liberal thinking (I’m paraphrasing his post).

He started by asking what the benefits of immigration are, and this has been variously answered.

Then he went onto berating liberals, because they...oh, it all went a bit scattergun after that.

Suffice to say - Theland is angry. I think he should channel that anger into something positive. Get active, get political, get out and campaign.
Theland you’d love it up here, we have celtic and rangers
Theland, as a Christian I feel you give Christianity a bad name with your narrow minded attitude.

I am sorry sp but you have it wrong most people I know and quite a few who I don't know but have been in their company, also hold the same views.

They despair at how how once great country has deteriorated almost out of recognition to how it once was.

The constant brain washing actions of how we should accept with glee everything that is put our way.

Most right minded persons have nothing against homosexuals, in fact most of those I have had contact with are very friendly and nice people, but it is their pressure groups that constantly drive a wedge between them and straight people.

Take black people for instance ignoring the crime and drugs some have landed this country with, they are no different to white people.

But once again the establishment make it so obvious in their quest for diversity they must include a black person or a homosexual in TV programmes and TV adverts, they make it so obvious they even have black cartoon caricatures and mixed race partners etc.

If it is true diversity where are the Indians, the Chinese, or any of the others?

Perhaps black and gay people are included because the program is made to represent real life and that is part of real life.
immigration is not a new practice - the UK (or this once great nation as some prefer to call it) is built on immigration - right back to Roman times!
I challenge any of you not to find that you have a mixed heritage!

This is a typical response to a person who is only expressing his views, it is aggressive and rude responses such as this, that's alienating some today.
AOG

Perhaps it’s because of our respective crowds. Most people I know have always lived in urban areas and have close friends who are from different ethnic groups, and a mix of straight and gay people. For them, this is simply life - not a big deal.

If, however - you’ve grown up in a world where it was a big deal, where it was illegal - or at the very least, frowned upon - then the new liberalism must seem very, very alien, in the same way that the brainwashing of the past (eg. from the Church) is alien to young people.

I think the reason why younger people don’t feel bothered by pressure groups - is that they by and large agree with their aims.

Crikey my family have been here since 55BC and I am not allowed to class myself as English.

But there have been many diverse answers to this thread. It would be foolish to concentrate on just those negative ones.
