What do you like to do on Friday evenings?

HOnestly, Anne, do I strike you as the sort of person who allows herself to be dictated to?

The fact is we reached a decision together to cut back on our shopping bills which have been hitherto unconfined to any sort of budget. We are now looking at buying a house which is considerably more than the house we narrowly missed out on buying and renovating. We have to make sacrifices and I pledged to cut back on the weekend refreshments...

I always think Tony and I must work at very similar establishments - mine is a large engineering/mechanical workshop full of men with a lot of office support staff.

My husband used to finish at 12pm on a Friday. He couldn't wait to break out! Lol... He retired 6 weeks ago....

I have heard that the first couple of months just seem like an extended holiday from work.

Hi Tony, retirement comes highly recommended, I did it almost 4 years ago. Got a good routine sorted and am enjoying it.
