How sad that the service to commemorate the victims of the Maamchester Arena atrocity, still failed to call out the true cause of this evil.
The Quran.
We learn nothing.
We refuse to stand up strong, and prefer to sing songs about coming together.
The youngest victim, Saffi Roussos, 8, lives on in my heart as a representative of all of the victims, and I think we betray their memories by continuing to deny the evil truth staring us in the face.
Don't look back in anger? I do, and I hope many others will too.

There was one young man who thought he was serving his faith when he committed this atrocity.
There was another young man (of the same faith) who was present, acting as a security guard, who provided help and comfort to the young victims.

I choose to believe there are more of the latter type than the former..

That really is an illogical assertion, the literal interpretation of some one and a half thousand year old texts should be modified (btw, have you read the Koran?)

Last week President Macron, ex president Sarkozy and a large number of French academics requested to the French Islamic community that they consider the removal from the Koran of several passages which refer to the destruction of Jews and Christians.
What was the answer from a leading cleric? the equivalent of, "Get stuffed!"
