Just watched Sarah Ferguson, Duchess Of York on the One Show.
She looks really well and pretty for 57.
I think the Royal family should be a bit more inclusive and bring her back into the fold.

There is no 'murderous psyche of the Irish people' Venga, just crazies on both sides, and frankly the way you speak yourself doesn't give me great hope that you'd have a lasting peace if you had a choice. I think it's very disturbing.

Oh gosh.
I hope I have not inadvertently opened up old wounds.
My wife's family also suffered there, but thankfully none of them were killed.
I am lost for words at the thoughts of those bereaved in such appalling ways.

I have seen nothing of that Venga, show me who has supported the crazies please. I understand you are upset, it's a terrible thing to lose people to mindless violence and I knew none of the people lost in my family or their friends so am luckier than Gness, but I do know that a lot of people from both sides set aside their political ideals ( however wrong you might personally feel some of them were) to make sure that my generation didn't get sucked into the same terror and bloodshed they had been. That has to count for something and that's why I'm humbly suggesting to you that you try not to forgive or forget but to at least not inflame the situation by tarring everyone with the same brush. x

how quick this post went from Our Wonderful Royal Family" to Belfast and the Lower Falls road.

It's like everything in life - if you haven't lived through the troubles - you literally wouldn't have a clue. And a lifetime of explanations would never be enough but - bad on every side and there were more than two sides.

I do believe the people involved at the time have the right to tell of their experience/ tell their stories, . If we were not there we have no idea how awful it was .
