I thought stormzy was a strength of wind used on weather reports, slightly more severe than breezy and windy!
Spath. I am old, and I lost interest in popular music many years ago. As an old man I have different tastes from those of the young people who produce and enjoy their own music. But please don't be too cheeky to people with different tastes from yourself. :)
//Grime, may be one of the scenes you never realised was a thing. let alone who it's UK icons are ;) //

Did 'Grime' feature on this site some months ago.Was it not alleged to encourage gang cultcha, stabbings ,drugs and murder ?
that's the one retro!
"But please don't be too cheeky to people with different tastes from yourself."

I'm not. I don't mind what music taste people have, but if they have no idea about grime, then they have no right to tell me who is and isn't a UK grime icon. And if they do, my cheek may slip ;) Naomi can spank it if she wishes though. I wouldn't mind.

No retrocop, that was drill music.
"that's the one retro!"

No it wasn't. I bet you wish it was, though.

Oh dear. It appears it is Grime according to the experts in Staffs and West Midlands Police.
Have you ever heard of drill music, Retro?

Have you ever listened to a grime song?
I doubt Mark Harden has. Seems an utter idiot, clearly.
The reason mike said that is because..

" their backing singers aren't exactly Take That."

Shows what type of person he is.
TTT, "I thought stormzy was a strength of wind used on weather reports, slightly more severe than breezy and windy!" Would that be the Bro-fort Scale:)
Spath, have you ever listened to Mendelsohn's violin concerto in E minor? Or Zappa's 'The Ocean is the Ultimate solution'? Why not giv them a try? I'll have a look for Stormzy and see what I make of him.
"Drill music is a style of trap music that originated in the South Side of Chicago in the early 2010s. It is defined by its dark, violent, nihilistic lyrical content and ominous trap-influenced beats."

"Grime is a genre of electronic dance music that emerged in London in the early 2000s. It developed out of earlier UK electronic music styles, including UK garage and jungle, and draws influence from dancehall, ragga, and hip hop."

Stick to the Sinatra.
Atheist this isn't about if an artist or good or not. But i will give them a listen, sure.

I like a lot of music from rap to death metal to pachelbel's canon. I do NOT enjoy drill music.

More informed and professional than you no doubt. After all you were the one telling ymf that we should listen to the experts on the cc thread.
I remember my first experience of drill music

Chuck Keys In Love it was called.
"no doubt. "

No but there is doubt.. because I personally know what i know about grime and drill, and you, and mike have clearly showed a lack of understanding. Also, you have no idea who i am, so there should be serious doubt there.

Is mike an expert on the different sub cultures of grim and drill music, or does he just deal with youths on the streets? Yep, i thought so.
PMSL doug! that'll be way over the heads of the snowflakes!
TTT it's ironic, you act like a snowflake about the sheer idea of snowflakes. You're a little melt aint ya.
