// Excusing people who, in their inability to argue a point rationally, resort to personal attacks is my pleasure. You're excused.//

Sir Les Patterson, Cultural Attaché to the Court of Saint James is both Australian and the most cultured gentleman I have ever met.

PP - I have been defamed. Come to my aid.

Looking after grandkids - got to go and play snap now.
Back bit later.

Jesus said

" Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself "

You don't seem to be obeying his command

Why is that ?
Question Author
He plays his music too loud for starters!
Question Author
Actually Baz I do.
Under a narrow definition of neighbour that excludes everybody other than people who look and think like you, perhaps.

Another thinly-veiled excuse for racism.
Question Author
Oh Jim. Judging me?
Yeah probably.
Question Author
Jim - I know in my heart I am not racist or bigoted in any way.
I am patriotic and like to speak up against multiculturalism, diversity and all the other rubbish we are expected to swallow as societal enrichment.
If only what you knew in your heart matched with what you said and how you acted.

I get on well with the Sikh family who run a local shop, the Muslims who run the local Masala takeaway, one of our GPs is a Muslim woman, real nice.
Race or skin colour is sometimes a pointer to people who hate us so don't criticise me for my caution.
Quite simply, "When in Rome ...... "

When he said -
"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself "

He wasn't just talking about Balbir Singh , up the road
@1213 that is quite the funniest answer for a very long time.
You're not racist or bigoted in any way but multiculturalism and diversity are rubbish?
"Those people are the same ones who came here many years ago. And we accepted them. We are the original people in this land. We accepted them, we opened the doors for them, and they push us to be minorities in our land, then refugees in our land. And this will be with you if you don't wake up."

Metropolitan Nikodemus….1921 to 2011
//Jesus said

" Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself "//
// He wasn't just talking about Balbir Singh , up the road//

He wasn’t talking about Balbir Singh up the road at all. No point quoting Jesus on racism. Contrary to popular belief he wasn’t a shining example.
Theland - // I know in my heart I am not racist or bigoted in any way. //

A line in the excellent film American Beauty is appropriate here -

'Never underestimate the power of denial … '.
//'Never underestimate the power of denial … './/

A fitting quote on this thread but sadly aimed in the wrong direction. To harbour genuine concerns about the effects an alien culture has on one’s own is not racism. It’s common sense.

My daughter got back from London today after taking her own daughter to the Ariane Grande concert at the O2 arena. I was so relieved when they got home safe. Why?
Well Imwasnt worried about any Englishmen attacking them that's for sure.
