I hope this link works. I wonder how many of you can watch the whole video and still justify drinking milk, eating cheese... or eating beef?
I can not accept the argument of gaining produce via a local farm. If you are not vegan you pay for this... in your crisps, wine and cereal products etc.

Please watch the whole video if you can

I know it's a FB link but it should work for those without FB x

Not this nonsense again. If there's something wrong down at the farm, sort the farm. Don't use it as an excuse to become a diet oddball.
I still don't understand why Vegans won't eat unfertilised hen's eggs. No animal is harmed or killed in their production. Hens lay eggs regardless. I've asked before but never received an answer.
Is this the same Joey Carbstrong who feels artificial insemination of cattle is sexual abuse?

When somebody comes out with something as ridiculous as this, he can be dismissed out of hand as being an idiot.

Divegirl - clearly you are a committed vegan, good for you, but you are very much in the minority, so rather than posting pious and condescending guff, why not respect those of us who don’t share your opinion, we’ll respect yours, and everybody will live happily ever after.

There is nothing, literally nothing, that vegans could do to make me stop eating fish, dairy and meat.

As a vegan I just don't believe in taking what is not meant for me, so where do you draw the line? For me the line is drawn at living by the vegan society meaning. The answers are freely out there Naomi. It shouldn't be that much of a mystery in this day and age :)

@OG You think that the systematic abuse that you pay for every time you put milk in your tea or cheese on your toast is ok?

Has anyone watched the video?
I’m all for letting people eat whatever they want, I don’t ram my choice of meat down your throat so I don’t understand why you don’t have the same respect!
My best mate is vegan and I can honestly say she has never lectured me!
Perhaps if you chilled a bit you might be less aggressive towards meat eaters
Mmm. Turning into a bit of a rant now.
Always does
//The answers are freely out there Naomi.//

But I’m asking you, divegirl. If you feel it appropriate to come on here preaching I feel it incumbent upon you to provide answers to any questions arising from that.

//I just don't believe in taking what is not meant for me//

What in nature is ‘meant’ for you then?

//Has anyone watched the video?//

I watched a bit of it and felt it didn’t give a balanced view. I know dairy farmers and not one of them treats their animals in the manner depicted in that video. Similar videos could be made about pet owners, but it doesn’t follow that all pet owners mistreat their pets.
Oh for goodness sakes Lisa, give up, you'll NEVER win with this lot. I won't watch the video because I know full well the horrors that go on, but no matter how awful (and it is), folk on here will be blinkered to the suffering and not give a toss. Very, very sad. Poor, defenceless animals.
//folk on here will be blinkered to the suffering and not give a toss//

That’s neither true nor fair. I know you’ve recently adopted vegetarianism, hereIam, and that I can understand, but veganism is a different ballgame altogether - and that is what divegirl consistently shoves down our throats - no pun intended.
Excuse me a while. Just off for a bacon sarnie.
Any abuse isn't down to me. If any exists it's an issue for perpetrators, law, and government. Trying to lay blame on the end consumer for legitimately buying that offered was never valid and an appalling abuse of said end consumers.
Show me a vegan who actually looks healthy as I've never seen one.
Do you still have a dog?
Would you like to see videos of the absolute horror and torment of puppy farms and THOSE poor defenceless animals!

how can you tell someone is a vegan?
Cos they keep twittering on about cruelty to animals.

Videos and photographs of wars and starving children haven't stopped wars nor famine so why do vegans think they need to attempt shock tactics?

If they were that committed (oh, please) why not educate instead of alleged cruelty?

Talking of alleged cruelty, I seem to recall a couple being charged with child neglect as the child's diet was vegan and subsequently denied access to nutrients.

Sorry for the rant, but some vegans really get on my ***.
Diddlydo. Venus Williams.
Why did the vegan cross the road?

To tell you she was a vegan.
My friend's ex has been vegan for 40 or more years and has never rammed it down anybody's throat. There is a new breed of (they nearly always seem to be female for some reason) militant vegan who want to push their agenda onto everybody else. I know dairy farmers (whats left of them anyway after being done over by the supermarkets) and their cows are treated humanely.

I barely come on here so how that is true I'm not sure?

Yes I have a dog, he's a rescue boy called Jax... also 2 rescue cats, and a rescue parrot [along side Dave].

A healthy vegan? [and I'm not here to talk about this docu/film as I have yet to see it but....]

@rr Perhaps if you chilled a bit you might be less aggressive towards meat eaters

Please show me where I have been aggressive? I just don't understand their lack of compassion :(

Thanks for all usual replies, maybe one day someone will form a decent one [after watching the video].
There is no need for the diary industry, there are alternatives with oat being the easiest.
There are people out there working their *** off to help farmers make the change into other types of farming [hydroponics being an excellent one for those with crap land].
And no, this isn't the whole of what I have to say but there is no point trying to hold a conversation/debate with closed minds.

.... but.... bacon. x
