What are you after?
You don't believe? Fair enough. So do you have a vested interest in attacking believers?
The conversations rarely get beyond the banal, rather boring and says a lot about your egos.

Theland - // Virtually every post of mine is an invitation for some kind of mockery akin to the playground. Childish. //
Then maybe you should take a good look at what you post, and think about why that is.
// What are you after? //
Unlike you, absolutely nothing. I could never respond to one of your endless posts about religion ever again and not lose a moment's sleep about it.
You are the one constantly posting, asking endless questions and not liking the answers, being rude to people who challenge you, ignoring simple advice about respect and being rude all over again.
You just don;t see it do you - you are your own problem, you create the friction, you are rude to people, you scoff at beleifs others than your own.
I have told you this endless times and its clear that, like all devout Christians, your entire ethos is all transmit and no receive.
// You don't believe? Fair enough. //
As if! You couldn;t stop challenging none-believers if your life depended on it. You are here every day like a cracked record. If you don;t enjoy debating, and you don;t unless you think it is on your terms and your terms alone, then try something else. Fly a kite, learn to knit, bake a cake, just take a day off from being so relentlessly confrontational / martyred.
// Do you have a vested interest in attacking believers? //
No - but you have a vested interest in attacking non-believers, you are on here every day doing just that.

Theland
I would not mock a 5 year old for believing in father Christmas, the tooth fairy or the bogeyman.
But I would PMSL at a 60 year old man believing such made up nonsense.
That is why everyone laughs at your bible stuff. You are believing fantasy fiction that someone in adulthood should recognise as childish nonsense.

Theland - // Your insults are off the mark, as I have asked questions nothing more, and received nothing back but contempt. //
Where is the question in 'Grow up man.' - a direct quote from your recent post to me.
At least be honest enough to admit your rude confrontational attitude and stop playing the martyr - again - it's really tedious.

Theland - I have said before, I have no issue with your beliefs, only the superior attitude with which you express them.
I have said that several times, and as I pointed out, because you are all transmit and no receive, you either ignore what I say, or simply don't see it.
Either leaves you condemned to the same merry-go-round every day.

Naomi24 22:48 Sun 26th Jul 2020 Just ask yourself who Cain married. That'll give you a clue.
naom24 Extra people : if you want to skip over the inconveniently awkward stories (Genesis 1:26-29 and Genesis 2:5-8), jump to Cain’s marriage and his construction of a city (Genesis 4)…. that’s if you have the courage to ask the questions that automatically arise from a logical train of thought... like where did the inhabitants of his wife's far-flung homeland come from - and where did the residents of that city come from.... questions that, with a bit of thought, will take you back to re-examine Genesis 1 and 2.
Now would you answer my question please?
LOCUSTS /once again you've moved from one question to another .this is not an answer on the Flood. his is another subject- question- - about Cain and Abel and where they got their wives ??

locusts - you really do believe all this stuff is fact beyond any question don't you.
It's just a book - people can, and do, write anything.
Something does not become more unquestionable on a sliding scale of age - it was written two thousand years ago, so is two thousand times more true than something that was written last week.
That's just not how the real world works.
