Is Cyberpunk Punk?
1 Answers
This question is for people who were punks during its height in the 1970s.
I am doing an essay on how Cyberpunk got its name and wanted to get the opinions of some original punks on whether they think the term cyberpunk deserves to have "punk" in its name and if so why/why not?

He created the term by combining "cybernetics," the science of replacing human functions with computerized ones, and "punk," the raucous music and nihilistic sensibility that became a youth culture in the 1970s and '80s.
