Really Angry And Upset

Just been out in the lovely sunshine for a walk with Jill my little dog. She was as happy as Larry with her tail right up and enjoying being out with Mum. We were waiting to cross a road when this blue car came along, window open, being driven by a male in say his 30's and as he drove past us he shouted out through his open window 'Hope your dog gets kicked' !!! WHY ??? Bang goes my good mood and I'm still feeling down about it now - what the hell is wrong with some people ???

I was standing outside talking to my son in law yesterday, some young girl, probably late 20's, hung out the window and shouted "Look at that builders belly -Loose it". Not the first time I have been personally abused by young girls in the street either, its just something some people feel the need to do.

I take no notice, suggest you do the same, they are the ones with a problem not you.

Thanks all, I know I shouldn't let it get to me and normally it wouldn't, at one time I would have been shouting back at him until his car was a dot on the horizon !! It's just that you're stood there minding your own business and your little dog is happy and that happens. Some people are just vile.

I'll be fine, I just wanted to get it off my chest.

I appreciate that sort of behaviour can be upsetting. However, it reflects on him, not on you. You and your dog are perfectly safe.

Do not let some irrelevant little oik ruin your good day because he simply is not worth it. You have a nice walk to enjoy and a little dog to enjoy it with; he has such a sad life the only enjoyment he has is shouting out of car windows.

Thank you all for your kind words. I feel tons better now. Had a nice coffee in Sainsbury's cafe and bought Jill a new toy. She ran straight outside with it and is lying on the rug I put out for her in the summer with the toy between her front paws. Treated myself to a summer berry cake with meringue on top from Sainsbury's, going to cut myself a piece now - yum !
