I have been having this recurring dream for a while .

Sometimes I don't have it for quite a while then it comes back again

Basically my first car I owned has been at a repairer for a long long time . I know I need to go to the repairer to sort things out ; but I won't go and deal with it .

I have holidays and think to myself I will sort it out then .but still don't do anything about it .

I know that there my be storage charges racking up but I still won't go and deal with it .

Sometimes I think that the guy ( who I know more than casually ) has got rid of it , but in the back of my mind I know it's still there

How odd is this .

Really weird , don't you think ?

I will be Joseph.
There is an issue from your past that you need to deal with.
Or maybe you've been putting off cleaning your oven.

Can't think of any

And ,cleaning my oven ?
How dare you.
cars in dreams can be a metaphor for where you're going generally. Have you been putting off decisions about your career or where you want to be living?

No
Weird but normal. I have been having weird dreams too, it is alright if we do not try and interpret them.
In my recurring dream I am chased by a gorilla and get trapped in a smelly phone box.
I used to have dreams that cars I owned in the past I still had stashed away somewhere but couldn't remember where or get them up and running again.
In my recurring dream I am chased by a gorilla and try to hide in a phone box, but it's occupied!
I’d say it’s to do with something you do quite often and then you do not do it for a while and start it up again .The older you are the later in the day the trigger to you dream happens .so thats should sort it out for you ok
Have you got a dripping tap?
I think the car is you. Are you worried about your 'bodyparts'?..

I had a weird dream that I was eating a giant Marshmallow and when I woke up the pillow was gone .

Sorry Baz , I couldn't resist it
rather obvious anxiety dream....
go and pay and collect the car!
A car may refer to the course of life but not if it has been in storage for an indefinite period. It often pertains to something else: your body. Specifics may include headlights for eyes, radiators for the mouth, tires for hands and feet, you get the idea.

The question in my mind concerns how old you were when you first owned a car and how old you are now. What physical trait has remained unchanged and lacking development (i.e. in storage) despite any debt incurred by physical neglect. The guy whom you know casually should have gotten rid of it would be your Ego. Because it's in the back of your mind, it's tucked away in memory without enough emotive impetus to immediately be brought to the Preconscious. Because it lacks this impetus, the Unconscious prompts you in its attempt to dislodge this memory trace for re-ordering in the process of mundane dreams.

If an aspect of your body has been neglected, it may be due to diet, exercise, proper balance between leisure and rest, or even setting a routine for balance; and if so, may not be as weird as it initially appears.
