Well, if you are travelling to the airport that is located closer to Kaunas than it is to Vilnius, then yes, definatelly go for it. Ryanair have daily flights to Kaunas from Stansted and other airports in the UK. Vilnius, however, has more style, but if you are not interested in visiting old museums and churches, then getting plastered in Kaunas is just fine! :-)
