is reading and newbury south east or south west?

in england? You dont often get a category for south central, which is what i'd say they are!
newbury is sort of near swindon which is southwest, but reading is sort of near slough which is southeast. While we're on the subject, are there any cities in berkshire? I couldn'tt hink of a single one

In answer to your second question, no, although Reading has applied to win city status in both 2000 and 2002.

I would have classified reading as south but newbury as south west.
