Hi All,

Do you think there are differences between the North and South then? If you do think there are differences, what do you like about those differences? Does anyone take the stereotypes that we give each other seriously? Do you think it's all just a bit of joke that we poke fun at each other or do you think there's a serious element to it all?

(And if anyone can tell me what a stuttie (sp?!) is I'd really appreciate it!)

Cheers
China

Right... some issues...

I'm born and brought up in London. I'm also half cornish.

So effectively what you've just told me is that I have

a) No manners
b) An odd sense of humour
c) An odd sense of humour which is sometimes just strange.

Bloody Northern Monkeys!!!

;0)
Great Britain? fantastic place to live, I've lived all over the place, north + south, without a doubt I'd move to Wiltshire at the drop of a hat due to being posted to Warminster for 2 years, but that was because I loved the scenery there.
I've found friendliness and grumpyness (SP)? in people from all over the UK,

Numpty.
Im a Scot with an English Mrs Shes from Hampshire im from the central belt in Scotland

Hampshire and southern England is very pretty with the nicest summer weather lovely ye olde towns etc etc

Scotland is breathtaking if you go to the right areas The Central belt can be a bit grim but the highlands and borders are spectacular

As for southern english and northern english people..well i find southeners far more friendly northeners have a very cocksure way about them as if they can say what they like just comes across as arrogant
Question Author
Really Q? It's usually stereotyped to be the other way round with us southerners coming across as a bit colder in manners than our northern counterparts.
